My name is Louise, but I go by Lu. My husband, Mike, and I are avid travelers. We started traveling together as soon as we met almost 10 years ago back in 2015. We met later in life when we were in our 40’s and we quickly realized that we didn’t have a lot of time to waste and need to start living the life we always wanted – which is to see what this world has to offer. It was amazing to find your person who share the same interest and passion.

I started my Instagram travel account, @daubtrotters, during covid when I was longing for travel. I used the account as a channel to reminisce our past travels; however, it quickly became something I truly enjoy. I became part of the travel community over there where I could share experiences with other travelers. Since then, travel has become even more important and it really has enhanced our quality of life. We both work demanding corporate jobs.

Though at times seeing many people ditched their jobs to travel full time seem so attractive, we enjoy having a career and having a mean to take care of ourselves later on in life when we get older and may not be able to work. We believe we still can find solace through travel while holding a full-time job. Yes, we travel fast and furious; however, it is still fulfilling.

Our interests among other things are – US and Canada road trips, US National Parks bucket list, European road trips, Hiking Adventures, Waterfall Hikes around the world, Small Town Explorations, Lighthouse Hunting, and Delicious Food while traveling.
